Pakar Pertanian Expo, plus the fisheries and livestock shows that travel with it, lands at Setia City Convention Centre in Setia Alam from 9 to 11 October 2026. The official site calls the three-day run Malaysia's trade exhibition that puts agriculture, aquaculture and livestock on the same floor. Visitor registration is open now at pakarpertanian.my. Facebook posts from the fisheries edition say the hall is open to farmers, industry people, investors and the public.
This is an early-October date, but the booking is already the live September story for anyone in Shah Alam who works the farm supply chain or just wants to walk a machinery hall. The venue is SCCC at No. 1, Jalan Setia Dagang AG U13/AG, next to Setia City Mall. Hours on the fisheries organiser post are 10am to 6pm. Eventbrite lists 10am to 5.30pm. Plan to be out by 5.30pm if you hate being asked to leave a packing-up hall.
Three shows, one Setia Alam roof
PAKAR Pertanian is the crop and farm-tech side: fertiliser, seed, irrigation, machinery, greenhouse kit, IoT farm tools. Pakar Perikanan sits beside it with hatchery, feed, cold chain and aquaculture gear. Pakar Penternakan covers poultry, cattle, feed mills and livestock equipment. The official copy is blunt about the pitch. This is the only Malaysian trade show they claim that stitches those three together instead of splitting them across MAEPS weekends.
The 2026 edition was first trailed for April at MAEPS Serdang. Organiser 8tivation Studio later moved the whole package to 9 to 11 October at SCCC. Existing exhibitor bookings were carried over. Who should bother making the Setia Alam trip
The visitor list on the official site is long on purpose: farmers, plantation owners, distributors, traders, breeders, aquaculturists, farm contractors, government officers, academics, processed-food manufacturers. If you are none of those, the hall can still be worth a Saturday if you like looking at tractors and hatchery tanks, but this is not a pasar malam. Expect booth staff who want to talk SKUs and after-sales, not selfie walls.
Last year's MAEPS edition is the photo set the 2026 site still uses on its homepage. Treat those pictures as the flavour of the floor, not a map of SCCC. Setia City Convention Centre is a hotel-adjacent hall in a township, not the Serdang showground. Parking is the SCCC and Setia City Mall pool. Weekend mall traffic in Setia Alam is already heavy. Arrive at opening if you are driving a pickup you actually need to park.
How to reach SCCC from the rest of Shah Alam
Setia Alam does not sit on LRT3. From central Shah Alam, the honest route is a Grab from Stadium Shah Alam or Padang Jawa KTM, or a drive out Persiaran Setia Dagang. Setia City Mall is the neighbour if you want lunch after the hall. GSC is in the mall. Do not mix this expo up with a mall atrium pop-up. SCCC is the convention wing, not the shopping centre's centre court.
If you are coming as an exhibitor, booth reservation is a separate form from visitor registration. The site pushes both. Public visitors should use the visitor form so you are not turned around at a trade-only badge check, even though the fisheries post says the public is welcome. Bring a business card if you have one. The people at the tractor booths will ask.
